My teaching practice

12+ Years Teaching Experience

I have taught hundreds of students, from young children all the way through adults. I teach both private flute and piano lessons, as well as group classes and chamber ensembles. 

Dalcroze & Integrative Education

I am Certified in Dalcroze Eurhythmics and completed a Fellowship in Integrative Education. These two holistic pedagogical approaches include whole-body learning, social interaction, improvisation, creativity, and social-emotional development. 

Performer

I am a flutist with extensive performance and improvisation experience. I have performed on all sorts of stages hundreds of times and I bring this expertise into all my teaching. 

Curriculum & Program Design

I have created curriculum and educational programs for many organizations and audiences. I love bringing partners together and collaborating to serve a community's needs and interests.
